The first few months of breastfeeding are often challenging for new mothers. Frequent feedings, sometimes every two hours, require constant availability and flawless organization. Finding the right breastfeeding position—one that's both comfortable for the mother and effective for the baby—can be complex and a source of back pain and muscle tension. Breast pain, common in the early stages of breastfeeding, adds to the discomfort.
Daily life is reorganizing around feedings, limiting outings and usual activities. Fear of an impromptu feeding can generate stress and anxiety. To better understand these issues, we collaborated with lactation specialists, who shed light on the challenges faced by mothers and the specific needs of babies.

In May 2025, DUOH received a silver medal at the Lépine competition in recognition of its innovative aspect. At the same time, Muriel and Laurent, the inventors, were featured in the French television program "Grands Reportages" as part of the show "Le fabuleux destin des inventeurs" (The Fabulous Destiny of Inventors) broadcast on TF1.
