Wow! 5 years! We'll tell you the story of the creation of the brand, and this incredible adventure we've experienced from the initial idea to the creation of 9 jobs.
2018: the brilliant idea behind nomadic cushions!
It was the summer of 2018 when Muriel and Laurent went to Brittany with their children and decided to buy a U-shaped travel pillow to make their journey more comfortable. This pillow, which everyone has bought at least once, failed to live up to its promises and no one managed to get a wink of sleep.
So on the way back, they imagine their ideal travel pillow: " I want a really soft pillow to sleep well ", " actually it mustn't fall off when we fall asleep! ", " and it could be pretty with a nice graphic fabric! ".
Back in Toulouse , they created the first prototype of this brilliant idea, and the concept was immediately approved by their friends and family. Knowing they weren't the only ones to have faced this problem of car comfort, they decided to launch an initial series of cushions with a dedicated website.
2019: 2 prestigious awards for ISIDOR
In June 2019, ISIDOR, the car cushion and the brand's first invention, was featured on M6 in the show "Mon invention vaut de l'or" (My Invention is Worth Gold) . In July , ISIDOR emerged victorious in the show's final , captivating audiences with its ingenuity and its family-run story.
In November, an international award was presented at the Lepine competition: ISIDOR won a gold medal in the transport category !
2021: The family is growing!
More cushions have been created, and Cosy Club has moved into new premises in Nailloux. 300 m² dedicated to the design and manufacture of all the brand's products. The icing on the cake is that it's an eco-friendly building, equipped with solar panels and heated entirely by wood! This move has also created several jobs in sewing, pattern making, and order preparation , so all stages from creation to shipping are carried out in one place, in the Nailloux workshop.
2022: The year of rewards!
Muriel and Laurent are joining Réseau Entreprendre to receive support in developing Cosy Club. This valuable mentorship will help them structure their business and operations.
Cosy Club has received the "Made In 31" award in the "sport, health and well-being" category, the "Sower of Innovation" award from Crédit Mutuel, and the "Small Business of the Year" award from the Toulouse and Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry! A year full of surprises that rewards all the hard work done by the Cosy Club team!
2023: Certified French Origin Guaranteed!
AFNOR is conducting an audit of the production chain and the materials used. The objective is to demonstrate the brand's commitment to local manufacturing, job creation, carbon emission reduction, promotion of the circular economy, and the development of the textile industry in France.
Cosy Club achieves an average score of 84% French content thanks to its manufacturing in the country and the materials used!
This certification is important because it allows an external body to validate the veracity of the "Made in France" claim. Unfortunately, even today, it's not always easy to know for sure if a product is truly French. We're the first to scrutinize this closely in our everyday purchases (food, clothing, cosmetics, etc.). And we've often been misled by deceptive or vague claims, just like you probably are! By choosing to buy "Guaranteed French Origin," you can be certain you're making the right choice.
Cosy Club also holds the " Made in Occitanie " label and received a visit from Carole Delga, President of the Occitanie region, to its workshop for a tour of all stages of production.
2024: The 5th year of an incredible human adventure
