A Made In France gift for mom: that makes sense!
From the very beginning of our adventure, we've focused on local manufacturing using high-quality materials, sourced from France whenever possible. And it's entirely feasible! We're even gradually increasing the proportion of our ultra-French cushions.
You're probably familiar with our best-selling Salvador Charleville and Brocéliande nap cushions: elegant, gender-neutral jacquard fabrics woven in France with organic and recycled cotton yarns. To expand our range with even more ethical and eco-friendly cushions, we're kicking off the season with two new, distinctly French fabrics! The ISIDOR car pillow and the SALVADOR nap cushion are now available with these two new additions to our organic cushion collection.
ISIDOR Delft , ISIDOR Nice , SALVADOR Limoges, and SALVADOR La Ciotat : these pillows are woven in France from GOTS-certified organic cotton and printed using an eco-friendly technique that requires no water, transfer paper, or chemical pretreatment. The fixative, inks, and softener used are certified non-toxic to both nature and humans. Our pillows are then manufactured near Toulouse in our own workshop.
A Mother's Day gift idea focused on comfort!
At the beginning of the year, we switched to a new, even more eco-friendly filling fiber . We know exactly where it comes from (and yes, unfortunately, many things in the plastic recycling process are opaque...). The Plastic Bank network is committed to cleaning up the most polluted rivers and streams, but its social impact is just as important. When we started using this fiber, we wanted to make a splash and created a very special model: SALVADOR Port-au-Prince. The first model filled with our new fiber, it has a distinctly nautical look with its cotton cord woven in France.
