The year 2021 is over
...and we wanted to take a quick look back before embarking on the new adventures that 2022 has in store for us. A little pause to see how far we've come in a year and share our small victories with you!
Our own garment workshop near Toulouse
The year 2021 began with a significant change: a installation in an eco-friendly building at the entrance to the Nailloux village (31) in January. With this change of premises, we had one goal in mind: to create our own garment workshop .
We invested in a large cutting table, professional sewing machines, and recruited Aline, a workshop coordinator, to set up and manage the production of our travel pillows. Fabric cutting, assembly, and filling are entirely handmade within our walls .
A year later, the workshop team consists of three seamstresses, Séverine, Sabrina, and Laetitia, an upholsterer, Cécile, and Aline, who oversees production. Marion, our order preparer, handles all shipping, which we prefer to manage internally for maximum responsiveness.

ELLIPSE, the new kid on the block for sleeping on planes, trains or buses
This year, the Cosy Club family has grown with ELLIPSE , a travel pillow specially designed for long journeys by plane, train, or bus. For this new model, we are pleased to work with the Tissages de Charlieu , near Roanne, which weaves the fabric for ELLIPSE made from recycled cotton and polyester, which makes it a cushion Made from 88% recycled materials (fabric + filling) 🌍
Our cushions are available in stores all over France.
This year has also been marked by the development of a A network of retailers spread throughout France . Today, there are around forty stores, mainly attractive concept stores, which promote the brand in France, as well as in Switzerland and Belgium. You can find all these shops on our website .
We are also proud to have three of our cushions listed. on the Nature & Découverte website This year! This is a qualitative recognition for our products from this major brand which is labeled " B Corp " and which is very demanding in terms of places and methods of manufacture.
A responsible commitment
Always driven by our desire to Reducing our carbon footprint , 2021 also marks the use of Made from a recycled Ecolabel-certified filling fiber , fluffy and soft, produced from plastic collected from waterways to help protect the oceans. Since February, we have already used more than 3 tonnes of plastic , or more than 120,000 bottles by the end of December to fill our cushions.

Continuing in this same environmental vein, 2021 marks the arrival of a nap pillow made from 100% recycled materials - SALVADOR Cap-Ferret
We've also increased our organic product range from 10% to 25% ! And we're aiming for 50%! We've started a collaboration with a textile printer in the Ain region who prints on... Organic fabric, woven in France , with a Innovative and eco-friendly waterless printing technique . This fabric is used for ISIDOR the car pillow And SALVADOR comfort cushion For everyday use. Cosy Club, supported by the Region and the Réseau Entreprendre
END In 2021 we received support from the Occitanie Region in investment in equipment for our workshop. We have also integrated the Réseau Entreprendre as Laureates and benefit in particular from support a 2-year program reserved for companies that create value in France and local jobs. All of this gives us wings!
2021 was therefore a very eventful year for Cosy Club!
